Today, I will introduce coil zippers.

There are many different types of zippers. There are quite a few combinations of zipper types, slider functions, and colors, so it is a bit confusing.

You can put a metal zipper on a bag, but if the item is made of thin fabric, a heavy zipper may cause it to lose its shape. It depends on the texture of the fabric and the design.

The coil zipper is used depending on the item to which it is attached.

What Is a Coil Zipper?

There are many type of plastic zippers Conceal(R), Efron(R), and Flatknit(R).
Coil zipper is also a type of plastic zipper. As the name suggests, they are zipper with elements made of synthetic resin and coiled (spiral).

Because it is made of resin, it is softer and more flexible than metal zipper or VISLON(R).
It is used not only for clothes, but also for bags, pouches, etc.
It is also easy to process, so if you are in a hurry, we can make arrangements for processing.

About Sliders

If nothing is specified, a general slider called “DA” will be attached.
There are many other sliders that can be added, but there are some caveats.

The sliders are the same color as the tape except for a few, but “ZA”, “ZF”, “CA”, “CF”, and “DSYG” are only available in plated colors.

Plating color can be selected from the following colors.
*If you do not specify a color, “C5” (silver plating) will be automatically applied.

O => (Gold plated)
C5 => (Silver plated)
Ｉ=> (Antique gold plating)
H3 => (Antique silver plated)
V3 => (black silver plated)
X6 => (matte black)

“ZA”, “ZF”, “CA”, and “CF” are sliders that do not have pulls and can be retrofitted with pulls of your choice.

It is sold in ApparelX by IRIS and others makers, but you need to check if it can be attached to any slider.

We once had a customer who purchased a “ZA” slider and inquired about not being able to attach a pull, but when we checked, we found that it looked like a pull, but it was not a pull, but a pendant top…!
