ApparelX is constantly adding new manufacturers and new products to the website, and currently has more than 15,000 products.
In this article, we would like to introduce Lingo, a new product that has recently been added to ApparelX product lineup!
Lingo is a textile brand proposed by Department 5, Section 1 of Kuwamura Textile from Hyogo Prefecture.
This department handles a variety of fabrics, especially distinctive fabrics.
For more information about Kuwamura Textile, please refer to this article:
While Department 1, Section 2, which already handled natural fibers such as yarn-dyed shirt fabrics, Lingo, which will start handling synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon, is mainly synthetic fibers.
Lingo has a variety of functional fabrics unique to synthetic fibers, as well as attractive fabrics that are a fusion of tradition and new technology made possible by Kuwamura Textile’s long history.
Let’s walk through some of the recommended Lingo fabrics, shall we?
This fabric is typical of Lingo, which specializes in synthetic fibers.
This taffeta fabric uses bright nylon in the warp and bright taslan in the weft.
Although it is difficult to convey in the picture, it differs from ordinary nylon taffeta in its luster and wrinkle finish.
It has a vintage feel and a moderately luxurious feel, and the ingenuity unique to Kuwamura Textile can be seen.
It is likely to show its presence in outerwear and jackets.
Oxford fabric using Lingo’s original 30/1 C/CORDURA blend yarn.
This fabric was produced with the image of a vintage fishtail parka.
It is interesting that the fabric manufacturer shows us the source of this kind of image.
It has a water-repellent finish and is a functional fabric that can be used for outerwear or pants, as the manufacturer suggests.

This twill fabric uses taslan polyester for the warp and SOLOTEX® for the weft.
SOLOTEX® has been the subject of many inquiries at ApparelX due to the recent trend toward relaxation.
This fabric has the stretchiness that is a characteristic of SOLOTEX®, and at the same time, it has the texture of cotton due to the vintage processing and taslan processing.
Kuwamura Fibers does not only emphasize the functionality of synthetic fibers, but also expresses a natural fiber feel.
This is a fabric full of originality produced by Lingo from yarn.
It is made of recycled polyester with a cross section and has excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties.
It is a great advantage of synthetic fibers that functionality can be added by making the cross section different from the usual shape.
This fabric is woven even more densely and has a very high UV shielding rate of 99.9% or more.
This fabric is recommended for outdoor wear with its two functions of water absorption, quick drying, and UV shielding.
This time we introduced Lingo fabrics, which are now available at ApparelX, however there are many more fabrics than those introduced here.
