Today, I would like to introduce MU-TECH® by MURATA CHO Co., Ltd.

What is MU-TECH®?

This is the general term for the original fabrics produced by MURATACHO Co., Ltd., a textile trading company.

Many of the fabrics are functional and have been used by many manufacturers and high brands.

What I’m going to introduce here is a functional fabric with a multi-layered structure, but my impression is that such high-functional fabrics are basically made to order with minimum lots.

MU-TECH is available for cut-to-size orders, as MURATACHO risks his stock.

M-11000TL High performance 3-layer nylon microfleece

This is a 3-layer product full of high functionality. A special polyurethane film is used in the middle layer to achieve high water pressure resistance, high moisture permeability, and wind resistance.

Water pressure resistance level is 20,000mm, this is is a full-fledged outdoor specification that can handle storms since 10,000mm of that level is said to be able to withstand heavy rain.

It is a little hard to see, but the surface is slightly raised, giving it a luxurious feel. When you touch it, it feels like peach skin, which is very comfortable.

The matte look gives it an urban feel.

It is also available in a wide range of 11 colors. The color palette is also very calm and urban, making it a good choice for urban wear.

M-12000TL High performance 3-layer nylon

This is also a highly functional fabric with a water pressure resistance level of 20,000mm.

It is similar to M-11000TL, but this one uses full dull yarn instead of raised yarn.

Full dull yarn has a matte look with less luster, so it reduces the chemical (?) sheen unique to nylon fabric.

Also, this fabric is lighter in weight.

M-13000TL High performance 3-layer polyester knit

This is also a 20,000mm level of water pressure resistance.

The knit material on the surface has stretch and the entire fabric has a soft finish.

Waterproof, breathable, and stretchable, it’s a triple threat!

M-14000TL High performance 3-layer lightweight nylon ripstop

This is also a 20,000mm level of water pressure resistance.

The surface is ripstop.

In addition, it is a perfect fabric for sports-themed and outdoor items because of its colorfulness.
