This time, as our affiliated trading company, we will introduce recommended lining product codes from Japan’s largest supplier, Sankei.
Contents
Founded in 1955, Sankei Corporation is a materials supplier specializing in accessories, boasting the largest scale in the industry. The company maintains an integrated production system with production facilities for materials in-house.
Sankei offers a wide range of original products, including linings, interfacing, hooks, elastic bands, buttons, and more.
Since Sankei’s original linings are unique in their coloring and texture, many of them stand out as one-of-a-kind. Let me introduce some of them.
1818 Somebijin is one of Sankei’s best-selling original linings, known for its softness, suppleness, rich texture, and excellent drape and slip properties. It’s a new-generation lining material that uses antistatic yarn, minimizing uncomfortable static discharge during wear and removal. As of June 2024, it has been confirmed that over 400 million meters have been shipped, indicating its widespread use as lining in many garments.
7001 Fuji Silk Type Polyester Taffeta Lining is a polyester lining with a silky texture similar to silk. Unlike regular silk, it excels in wrinkle resistance and uses Soaful, offering excellent drape as well.3.5
The accessories industry includes competitors but also operates on a collaborative basis, where both sides engage in transactions such as inventory flexibility. This fosters a relationship akin to comrades in the industry. Having easy access to various linings and materials facilitates smoother manufacturing processes, doesn’t it?
